As an Operations Manager overseeing valve repairs and maintenance in the field and workshop, you play a crucial role in HVL ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely execution of valve-related services. Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination:
o Develop detailed plans for valve repair and maintenance projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
o Coordinate with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
2. Team Management:
o Supervise and manage a team of technicians and engineers specialising in valve repairs and maintenance.
o Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and knowledge.
3. Quality Assurance:
o Establish standards and protocols for valve inspections, repairs, and maintenance processes.
o Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Safety Management:
o Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective measures.
o Conduct regular safety training and drills for the maintenance team.
5. Data Tracking and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, valve performance, and repair history.
