SALARY: £29,777 - £31,364 pro rata + Benefits

Working as the Community and Wellbeing Support Worker you will be passionate about supporting people to live well in their community and promote health and wellbeing to children, young people and adults, and their families.

DUTIES
Your duties as a Community and Wellbeing Support Worker will include:
* Work closely with partners to reduce health inequalities, increase physical activity, and improve access to services across all communities.
* Develop and deliver evidence-based programmes that improve health and wellbeing outcomes for children, young people, adults, and families.
* Co-ordinate and deliver a range of evidence-based early and focused support for children, young people and adults, and their families through various interventions including groupwork and 1:1.
* Support and promote the health and wellbeing offer available across Rutland, ensuring the community knows how to access support.
* Collaborate with volunteers, community groups, and multi-agency partners to deliver impactful, innovative solutions.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* A qualification in Early Years, Youth Work, Education, Health and Physical Activity, or social care field to a minimum level 3 or equivalent proven work experience.
* Experience of working in community development, public health, or related fields.
* Experienced in design, delivery, and implementation of health improvement programmes.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to both collaborate and work independently.
* Experienced in leading or supporting projects in partnership with local organisations or community groups.
* A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and positive behavioural change.
* A Full UK Driving Licence.
