Job Description
As an Evelyn Partners Private Client Tax Associate Director you will work with all Assistant Managers, Managers and Directors in the team across their portfolio and will benefit from having a diverse vast array of people to support and collaborate with.
Your client portfolios will consist of a mixture of private clients with both established and growing wealth. There is also a focus within the team on private equity execs and their families.
Key responsibilities:
1. You will take responsibility for delivering work to clients in line with agreed timelines and budgets. Managing the relationship with clients, with the aim of developing new business from your current client base and beyond.
2. You will be leading and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support.
3. Liaising with other service lines to deliver work to clients, for example: Accounts & Corporate Tax work.
4. Maintaining strong relationships with clients delivering comprehensive tax strategies and solutions, and supporting senior members of the team to identify opportunities for new work.
5. Developing the more junior team including providing timely feedback and assisting them with technical and personal development.
Qualifications
Essential requirements and qualifications
1. You will have significant experience gained within another professional services firm and will have a sound knowledge and understanding of a variety of private client tax issues dealing with complex capital gains tax and inheritance tax matters.
2. You will have proven technical knowledge and capability to communicate complex messages to your client base with the ability to ask the right questions to deliver tax planning and advisory projects.
3. Proven expertise in developing new business into profitable long-term client relationships.
4. People management and organisational experience.
5. Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser - ACA / CTA.
