The Role
Finance Assistant
Are you at the early or experienced stages of your finance career and want to be given the opportunity to work in a successful and growing Multi Academy Trust?
Working with our Trust’s finance team you will be the first point of call for a selection of our Trust schools. Dealing with day-to-day finance queries, you will be processing invoices, making orders and assisting schools with their daily finance processing. With the support of other finance assistants, finance officer and financial controller, full support will be on hand to develop you in this role.
Salary Grade 5, £24,790- £25,183 (Pay award pending)
Hours: 37 hours, 52 weeks
Required: as soon as possible
Location: Shrewsbury
To be successful, you will have:
* A range of competent numeracy and IT skills
* Experience of working within a financial role
* A strong interest in wanting to develop a career in finance
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* The ability to work independently and on own initiative
* Good organisational skills and an ability to work to deadlines
* A respect for confidentiality

The Finance team forms part of the Trust’s Shared Services team providing professional services supporting the delivery of “Achievement through Caring” to our family of 11 schools and to one another.
