About the Job Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for an Illustrator to join a world class art team where you will be responsible for producing evocative illustrations that capture all the thrilling characters and environments of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. As part of the renowned art team in our Nottingham Design Studio, you'll be responsible for helping to develop concepts and produce detailed and fantastical finished illustrations for a variety of different print formats, including Codexes, rulebooks and packaging. Highly creative and with a deep passion for the Warhammer 40,000 universe, we'll look to you to use your imagination to generate new ideas while working to a brief, whilst also faithfully recreating our Citadel Miniatures in artwork. You'll possess strong figure drawing and painting skills, and enjoy the challenge of producing highly rendered and appropriate art to strict deadlines, whilst always pushing quality. Our Illustrators work predominantly in digital media, most commonly Photoshop, working hand in hand with our Writers and Graphic Designers to create a range of Codexes and Campaign books. These provide context and inspiration for Warhammer 40,000 fans around the world.
