Ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service with a smile. Required to take orders, serve food and drinks, and remove dinnerware from the table in a timely manner. Under the direction of the Assistant Manager secures funds, records non-gaming revenue, prepares deposits and conducts other monetary or control procedures as required in various restaurants.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Ensures guests are greeted within 2 minutes making eye contact and smiling.
2. Beverage order placed within 2 minutes - suggest appetizer and alcohol drink of the day.
3. Soups and salads served within 3 minutes, appetizers within 5 minutes, lunch within 10 minutes, dinner within 15 minutes.
4. Operates POS system. Issues guests checks in a holder, makes change, and closes checks. Servers must have a Manager and/or Assistant Manager run end of day report to ensure no open checks.
5. Must possess a personable, customer service attitude with organizational ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Reports for work in a clean and neat complete uniform including name tag, ID badge, Service License, cork screw and black non-slip shoes prior to start of shift.
7. Maintains thorough knowledge of the restaurant menu.
8. Answers guests’ questions regarding the menu, makes suggestions regarding food specials, and soups of the day.
9. Writes guests order.
10. Checks dishes for presentation and accuracy before leaving kitchen.
11. Pre buses and resets tables as well as assist in running food from the kitchen.
12. Stays visible at all times to the guests. Limits time in the kitchen.
13. Completes opening and closing side duties. Checks with manager/assistant manager before leaving shift.
14. Observes diners response to any additional requests and to answer any questions guests may have.
15. Provides exceptional customer service with a smile.
16. Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
17. Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors, chefs and guests.
18. Follows all relevant policies and procedures set by the company.
19. Complies with the company’s recycling program standards.
20. Follows all state and company ABC Safe Serving of liquor rules and requirements at all times.
21. Must be actively at work to perform the essential functions of this job.

1. Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
1. Must possess high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
2. Must possess good communication skills.
3. Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.
4. Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed.
5. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a lottery license from the DE Lottery.
6. Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate uniform.
7. Must be ABC certified before starting work.
8. Must be able to speak, read and write English.
