Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor on a prestigious civil engineering project.

Responsibilities:
* Contract Management: Administering and managing NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, identifying risks, and resolving contractual issues.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing, monitoring, and updating detailed project budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with project goals and cost control measures.
* Procurement: Leading the procurement process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring value for money and adherence to project timelines.
* Cost Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular cost reports to stakeholders, detailing progress, forecasts, and any potential financial risks.
* Change Management: Evaluating variations and change orders, negotiating pricing, and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
* Risk and Opportunity Analysis: Identifying financial risks and opportunities, and providing advice to mitigate risks while maximizing project value.
* Subcontractor Management: Overseeing subcontractor agreements to ensure performance aligns with contract specifications and resolving any disputes efficiently.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborating with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on commercial matters.
* Compliance and Best Practices: Ensuring adherence to industry standards, company policies, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
