Job Title: Team Manager (Children)
Location: Hull
Working Hours: Hybrid
Rate: £40 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting experienced Team Manager to join a busy team at a Hull based within the Children in Care team.
Responsibilities:
As a Children’s Team Manager, you will manage a team of Social Workers and other staff within a social care service and the wider Children, Young People, and Families Directorate. You will ensure high-quality social work practice that achieves the best possible outcomes for children and young people in need of support, assessment, and intervention. Maintaining high standards of practice and delivering evidence-based systemic practice will be a consistent focus for the team. You will be responsible for the team’s performance and practice, prioritizing quality alongside agreed performance measures based on statutory and inspection requirements. You will drive key service and directorate-wide priorities, ensuring the team is fully informed and engaged within its wider context.
Minimum Requirements:
You must hold a fully accredited DipSW/Social Work degree (equivalent to Level 6 NQF), be registered with Social Work England, and have a management qualification or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Social Care is required, along with experience working with all service user groups, including minority ethnic groups. You should have experience interpreting and applying the law relating to children and/or adult services, as well as experience in child protection and childcare work.
