Package: 35 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and University closure days
The role holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of a portfolio of online courses within the Faculty of Business and Law. They will work with external partner organisations to develop and quality assure content and assessment activities, oversee teaching and learning, and enhance the student experience on the online courses. They will be responsible for enabling student success and fostering high-quality student outcomes.
St Mary’s is expanding its provision into fully online courses, and the role holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of these courses within the Faculty of Business and Law, in their capacity as Subject Lead of Business and Law Online. This includes working with partner organisations involved in the creation and delivery of the online portfolio, and recruiting and managing hourly paid/permanent staff required for programme delivery and assessment.
The successful candidate will have experience in the design and delivery of online courses at HE/FE level, preferably in a business/law related discipline. A sound understanding of quality assurance and enhancement procedures in higher education, and the implications of these for the online portfolio is essential.
Subject Leads are appointed on a three-year rotational basis, with an opportunity to extend at the end of the first three-year period.
