What you’ll do
We're recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join our Consumer Commercial Finance team at Vodafone UK. You will play an integral role in providing meaningful financial insights to assess and support business performance in the Base Management area. As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you will have regular exposure across the Base Management team and Consumer Finance teams, where your insight and support will be used to influence decision making and actions taken by the business.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
1. Support the Finance Manager with Base Management in Outflow and Retention, the biggest value opportunity in the Consumer P&L.
2. Lead on some areas such as: 2nd line sales, Tariff migrations and VeryMe rewards. This will give you a chance to build relationships with the business and provide insight on value and performance.
3. Support the financial assessment of retention offers, ensuring we are maximising volume and value.
4. Support the budgeting process, taking responsibility for some areas and liaising with our FP&A colleagues to ensure a timely budgeting and rolling forecast process
5. Flag any Risks & Opps in a timely manner and proactively seek solutions in collaboration with the finance team and the business
6. Month end reporting and analysis of the results including key Base KPIs (VeryMe spend, 2nd line vols, tariff migs and Sleeper revenue) proactively seeking out best practice
Who you are
7. Analytical approach, ideally insight into Consumer business financials
8. Part/fully qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with commercial experience.
9. Desire to understand the commercial insights.
10. High attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
11. Confident communicating with Senior Stakeholders
