The Team: The Enterprise and Global Risk Management (GRM) Issues Management Team is a part of the Global Regulatory Relations & Enterprise Issues organization. Responsibilities for the team include ownership and oversight of the Enterprise Issues Policy and underlying Standards, execution of strategic technology related to both Issues Management and GRR, and execution of operational processes supporting Enterprise Issue Policy ownership. Role Description: This job is responsible for providing risk oversight and advice to the Line of Business (LOB) on risk management issues. Key responsibilities include identifying risks to which the LOB is exposed, implementing measures to prevent and mitigate losses, and monitoring risk outcomes. Job expectations may include the ability to recognize all risk categories including credit, market, operational and compliance, as well as directing risk staff or participating in establish risk management procedures and standards. Responsibilities: Participates in establishing risk management procedures and standards. Conducts execution of risk framework activities including independent monitoring and testing of controls and risk management processes for the Line of Business. (LOB) Ensures adherence to the policies and procedures established by the company. Work with the Reg Issues Portfolio Executive to enable the implementation of processes, policies, playbooks, and controls for management of Regulator Issues in accordance with bank policies. Execute the regulator findings process through the lifecycle of a Regulatory Issue including managing day-to-day activities of regulatory management responses, engaging with business leaders, as well as second- and third-line partners to monitor and oversee remediation of regulator issues. Escalate risks and concerns to the Reg Issues Portfolio Executive and have an in depth understanding of regulator issue status. Establish proper connect points with Regulatory Relations, Issue Owners, Regulatory Issues Steering Council, as appropriate, to ensure timely execution of the regulator finding process. Maintain required documentation for regulator issues in the appropriate system of record and ensure information is accurate and entered timely. What we are looking for: Demonstrable experience in issue management or governance/strategic reporting roles. Advanced understanding of issue management policies, standards, reporting and processes. Proficiency with Excel Pivot table/Chart and PowerPoint. Experience with reporting and data analysis, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision. Excellent personal drive, a sense of urgency, and responsiveness, with a desire to grow, learn, and take on increasing levels of responsibility. Skills that will help: Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving. Proven process design and project management skills.
