Learning Support Assistant - Psychology Graduate
Location: Outstanding Secondary School and Sixth Form, Newham, East London
Salary: £500 - £540 per week, plus additional benefits

Are you a passionate Psychology graduate with a keen interest in supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning? Do you aspire to become an Educational Psychologist and are looking for invaluable hands-on experience in a thriving educational setting?
We are seeking three Learning Support Assistant - Psychology Graduates to join our Outstanding graded secondary school and sixth form in Newham, East London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils while gaining experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), behavioural challenges, literacy difficulties, and language barriers.
2. Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver interventions that enable pupils to reach their full potential.
3. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
4. Help students develop their confidence, social skills, and independence.
5. Contribute to the overall pastoral care and wellbeing of students.
About You
1. Recent Psychology graduate with a strong academic background - 1st or 2.1 degrees required.
2. A genuine passion for education, psychology, and supporting young people.
3. Patient, empathetic, and resilient with excellent communication skills.
4. Some experience in a school, tutoring, or care setting (advantageous but not essential).
5. Aspiring Educational Psychologists or those pursuing a career in a related field are highly encouraged to apply.
