Treatment should be delivered in line with professional guidelines e.g. BSP guidance, and in accordance with agreed patient group directive. Supporting the Senior Dental Officer and Practice manager with administrative functions, as required. Deliver elements of a dental treatment plan on prescription from a registered dentist in line with professional body guidance. Being familiar of the content of the Dental Emergency Resuscitation Kit (DERK), how to access it, how to use the components and be capable of carrying out Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) if necessary, in support of patients and colleagues. There are no expected Line Management responsibilities with this role, and any future changes will be discussed with the successful applicant at the time.
