Location: Aztec West Studio, North Bristol.
The Role:
We are looking for Junior Puppet Makers to work as part of a team to produce puppets for Aardman’s stop motion features & broadcast productions.
About You
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of basic modelmaking processes unsupervised, including some maintenance of puppets returning from the floor. Work may involve some repetitive tasks to produce multiple pieces such as casting & finishing 3D printed parts and silicone items.
The perfect candidate will have some previous experience, ideally at least a year’s relevant professional work or to have completed a previous Aardman long form project as a trainee. They will also need a strong interest in learning to improve the craft skills of puppet building to a high standard.
