We are expanding our delivery team at C&W Transport and invite you to start your career with us. Below, you will find a simple step-by-step guide to become a delivery driver.
About the Role
A typical day as a delivery driver includes collecting your assigned route at your local delivery station. You will be allocated a maximum of 9 hours for deliveries, including travel time between locations. For new drivers, we assign smaller routes until you become familiar with the role.
The daily rate in Paignton ranges from £164.70 for SWB to £184.70 for LWB.
Steps to Become a Delivery Driver
1. Visit our website's sign-up fast track page and complete the online application, including uploading personal documents.
2. Book a toxicology appointment, which we cover the cost of.
3. Once the background check is passed, you will be invited for training.
4. After completing training, collect a rental vehicle or submit your haulage insurance policy documents if using your own vehicle.
You will not need to pay for any part of the process, including a deposit on a rental vehicle. We operate from multiple locations across the UK and are continuously expanding into new areas, mainly servicing the world's largest online retailer by delivering small and medium parcels to customers daily.
This role is ideal for those who enjoy driving and interacting with customers, with the possibility of working up to 6 days per week. However, please note that health & safety regulations must be adhered to when operating a moving vehicle.
