Specialty Doctors must have a minimum of 4 years' experience since qualification, 2 of which must be in the relevant specialty. Your professional progress will be reviewed annually by the supervisory Consultant. You are encouraged to attend courses and conferences and departmental meetings to meet CME requirements. You will be accountable to the clinical and educational supervisors. The clinical team will be responsible for the delivery of activity to meet national, and local, targets, and within tariff. Our key objectives for Ophthalmology are as follows: To provide outstanding care to patients. Deliver services within tariff without jeopardizing service quality. Increase market share within the local community. Actively increase market boundaries. Develop service sub-specialisation. Develop cross-site service strategy. Maintain our excellent 18-week performance (Locally set at 15 weeks).
