Marketing Manager
Are you a dynamic and strategic marketing professional with a passion for driving business growth? We're looking for a self-sufficient, hands-on individual to take full responsibility for leading and shaping our marketing activities.
About the Role
In this key position, you’ll develop and execute a coordinated global marketing strategy aimed at maximizing penetration into core UK customers, expanding export sales, entering related market segments, introducing new products, and driving profitable growth overall.
Key Responsibilities
* Crafting positioning strategies for the product range and identifying gaps, while creating supporting literature, case histories, sales aids, and salesforce training.
* Developing and managing the branding strategy, including overseeing trademarks.
* Conducting strategic market assessments and analyses to identify trends, growth sectors, and competitor positioning.
* Exploring and prioritising new markets and growth opportunities, driving their commercialisation.
* Evaluating and selecting the best go-to-market channels, including direct sales, distributors, agents, and e-commerce platforms.
* Leading the organisation’s presence at exhibitions, conferences, webinars, and online events.
* Continuously improving digital marketing communications and campaigns.
* Collaborating with advertising, design, and PR agencies for optimal marketing communication.
* Creating impactful content and campaigns for trade and social media to enhance brand awareness and drive growth.
* Monitoring market trends and suggesting proactive strategies to capitalise on new opportunities.
* Building and managing a marketing team, and liaising with third-party marketing agencies.
* Developing and aligning a comprehensive marketing plan in cooperation with the sales and supply chain teams.
Key Requirements
* Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in SME manufacturing.
* Ability to work cross-functionally and build collaborative teams.
* Demonstrable track record of driving profitable growth, both domestically and internationally.
* Experience in senior management teams, influencing strategy.
* Strong branding expertise and success in industrial marketplaces.
* Exceptional communication skills for internal and external messaging.
* Experience organising exhibitions, creating external presentations, and implementing digital marketing strategies.
