A Main Contractor who delivers a variety of work including new build social housing, social housing refurbishments, residential and general build projects. The Role:
With growth comes opportunity and this business is looking to take on an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. You will need to be degree qualified or close to completion as the business already has someone more junior and requires the next level of experience. You will work closely with the rest of the commercial team, assisting with managing the finances on current and future projects. Your duties will depend on your strengths and the areas you need to focus on for your personal development. This is a great time to join as the business is growing, has a good order book and is looking very positive. It is office based and you can choose between offices, Watford or near Sandy, South Bedfordshire.
The Applicant:
The ideal candidate must have:
* Completed a relevant degree such as Quantity Surveying
* 2 years plus hands-on experience within a commercial team.
It is desirable to have:
* Worked on Social Housing new build projects
