The Role of Cabin Fitter: As one of our Cabin Fitters, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and preparing our various ranges of portable accommodation units for hire. You will work as part of our skilled JP Accommodation Team, ensuring that our units are prepared to our high quality standards. As a collaborative team player, you'll take pride in your work and surroundings, ensuring excellent service to our customer. Your main duties will include the following: Accommodation Setup: Fit out, refurbish, and repair accommodation units according to customer specifications. Cabin Maintenance: Service, repair, and prepare cabins for hire, including tasks such as painting, plumbing, joinery, welding, and electrical checks. Stock & Hire Preparation: check stock and upcoming hires for accommodation requirements, ensuring necessary preparation and maintenance are completed. Installation: Set up installations as required to ensure the accommodation is fully prepared for use. Demobilisations: Carry out demobilisations as needed. Paperwork: Complete job sheets and other necessary documentation. Are you the right person for this role? To be thrive in this role, you should have the following skill set: Experience gained in similar role Basic joinery and plumbing skills essential The ability to perform a variety of tasks to a high standard. Strong attention to detail, especially when working within tight timeframes to meet customer requirements. The ability to work effectively with others team members to ensure success Committed to producing and maintaining high standards of workmanship in a busy and fast-paced environment. A valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential.
