The AVOCADO Foundation is seeking an experienced individual to join us as a World Changers Entrepreneurship Trainer.

1. Essential Knowledge & Experience
Training Experience: Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programmes.
Entrepreneurship & Financial Literacy: In-depth understanding of entrepreneurship principles and financial planning.
Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using digital platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams.
Passion for Empowerment: Genuine commitment to supporting underrepresented communities in their entrepreneurial journey.
Communication & Time Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills alongside effective time management abilities.
2. Desirable Attributes
Experience in volunteer or community training roles.
Familiarity with “train the trainer” methodologies.
A proactive and collaborative mindset, with an eagerness to innovate and improve training delivery.
3. Skills & Abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail, particularly when training participants.
Empathy and a genuine interest in the organisation’s mission.
Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
A collaborative mindset, willing to work as part of a remote team.

About #WorldChangers Entrepreneurship Training (WCET) Programme
The WCET programme equips aspiring and established entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities with essential skills and resources to launch and grow sustainable businesses. Covering five core areas—strategic business development, creativity and innovation, funding and finance, resilience and well-being, and transformational leadership—the programme offers training and ongoing support. Participants gain confidence in business management, problem-solving, and financial planning, equipping them to thrive.
Main Purpose
As a WorldChangers Entrepreneurship Trainer Volunteer, you will deliver high-quality training sessions to support our mission. This role is ideal for someone with training experience, deep entrepreneurship and financial literacy knowledge, and a passion for equipping others with the skills needed to succeed. You will facilitate interactive sessions and mentor participants, helping them develop the practical tools required to thrive in business.
Main Areas of Responsibility
1. Training Delivery
Develop and deliver engaging virtual training sessions (Zoom, MS Teams).
Facilitate interactive workshops tailored to underrepresented entrepreneurs.
2. Curriculum Support
Collaborate with the WCET team to refine training materials.
Support “train the trainer” initiatives to build internal capacity.
3. Participant Engagement
Provide guidance and feedback to participants during and after sessions.
Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages innovation.
4. Technical & Administrative Support
Manage virtual training tools and scheduling.
Track attendance, collect feedback, and assist in post-session evaluations.
5. Other Requirements
Ensure compliance with organisational policies (safeguarding, confidentiality, health & safety, data protection).
Represent the organisation positively with participants and partners.
Support additional duties aligned with the programme’s objectives.
Contribute ideas to enhance training and content relevance.
