JOB TITLE: Senior Manager ROLE TYPE: Full time, permanent LOCATION: Chelmsford, Essex HOURS/DAYS (per week): Mon - Fri, 9am - 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week) SALARY RANGE: £50,000 to £80,000 per annum (depending on experience) NOTICE & PROBATION PERIODS: Tbc BENEFITS/BONUSES/HOLIDAYS: Pathway to equity within 24 months, company car park, competitive bonuses, 28 days holiday per annum (inc. bank holidays, increasing 1 per year after 5 years' service). Spread throughout multiple office locations within Essex, Hertfordshire, and London, this firm are on the search for top talent, and on this occasion a Senior Manager to join them in a crucial position, within their Chelmsford office. JOB ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to): The role will be based in my client's Chelmsford branch where they have recently opened a new office in the heart of Chelmsford. As a Senior Manager on the path to equity in the next 24 months, you will play a pivotal role in leading their accounting offering, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial solutions. You will oversee a team of professionals, driving performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. - Lead and manage a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice on accounting, tax, and compliance matters. - Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP. - Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction. - Mentor and develop junior staff, providing guidance and support in their professional growth. - Identify opportunities for business development and actively participate in marketing initiatives to attract new clients. - Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated and innovative solutions to clients. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of the profession. ANY SPECIFIC TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - ICAEW Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience. - Proven experience in a senior managerial role within a professional accounting firm. - Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. - Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in managing and developing teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to challenges. - Full UK Right to Work (no sponsorships) INTERVIEW/START DATES: ASAP (depending on candidate's availability)
