Job Summary
To provide a full, committed and professional service as part of the company’s Customer Service Department. Promote and support the continuous improvement of operational practices within the Commercial Department, whilst also working to positively enhance Customer experiences with the Company.
Responsibilities
1. Work in accordance with company procedures and work instructions – and be active in feedback and development of such.
2. Receive and process to quotation standard requests for product using Company templates and guidelines.
3. Receive Customer Purchase Orders, to review these against original Quotation and confirm match/issues prior to sending Order Acknowledgement.
4. Enter into the Company JDE system Sales Orders in accordance with agreements and ensuring Export Control compliance where necessary and in accordance with policy.
5. Processing of the purchase order through to dispatch ensuring all contractual requirements are met.
6. Provide Customers with updates on product supply status and become involved in expediting and communication initiatives where necessary including weekly Delivery Status Reporting to ‘Gold’ Customers.
7. Download and issue Order Book Management Report – analyse and expedite where necessary in line with contractual agreements. Attend Production meetings as and when required.
8. Take an active and positive involvement within the team and to become involved with Company programmes where specifically invited to do within capability and capacity considerations.
Basic Qualifications
1. GCSE’s
2. Relevant industry experience
