A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our team at Aurora Dental Implant Clinic in Swindon as a full-time Apprentice Dental Nurse. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and efficient person to join our expanding team.

At Aurora Dental Clinics we pride ourselves on our outstanding patient care, providing excellent treatment and customer service. We offer general, cosmetic and specialist dental treatments including Dental Implants, Orthodontics and sedation. All of our clinicians have undertaken extensive training to provide the highest quality of care.
The apprenticeship leads to a Dental nursing Level 3 Diploma which on completion, enables registration with the General Dental Council as a qualified Dental Nurse. Approximately 18 months is required to complete the training.
The role of a Dental Nurse is to assist the dentist/hygienist with all clinical aspects within the surgery. This includes but is not limited to:
* Greet and care for all patients in a polite and courteous manner
* Work closely with the dentist in a professional and appropriate manner
* Provide chair side assistance during all dental procedures
* Update computer records and taking notes
* Cleaning surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls
* Preparing instruments and materials during treatments
* Carry out reception and administrative tasks where required
* There will also be the opportunity to learn additional skills such as dental photography, radiography, sedation nursing, oral health education, intra oral scanning, treatment coordination during the apprenticeship

* The successful candidate must be reliable, organised, with good communication skills, computer literate, and keen to learn
* You must always be of a smart and professional appearance, wearing a clean, presentable uniform
Personal qualities
* You will have a calm, confident and reassuring manner and the ability to relate well to people, including children and those with special needs
* You will have a positive and flexible approach to work
* Experience is not necessary; however, we are looking for ambitious, hard-working and committed individuals
Desired qualifications
* GCSEs at grades C/4 or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English

* You will be required to have a Hepatitis B injection and pass a DBS check
