Our client is looking for an experienced Account Manager to grow the customer base of their Transmission and Distribution domain across the UK. What you’ll be doing
As Account Manager, you’ll be identifying, qualifying, and growing the customer base for our client's Transmission and Distribution domain. Building a strong sales pipeline and customer relations strategies will also be key elements of this role.
Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
* Developing your own strategic account plans for your assigned accounts, including reporting and owning sales targets
* Maintaining in-depth account relationships at every level, including the C-suite
* Utilising your technical skillsets and analytical thinking for problem solving, including working with and empowering others to deliver results with integrity
* Provide detailed sales forecasting to the relevant internal teams, including data related to customer and prospect interactions
* Build an in-depth understanding of your market, product lines, sales processes, and key customer groups
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based in Edinburgh or be able to work remotely in the UK. Travelling is an important aspect of this role, and you will be expected to travel frequently, with occasional travel overseas.
You’ll have demonstrable experience working on C-suite technical and commercial presentations, as well as a Degree in Business, Engineering, or another related field.
A few other key skills we are looking for:
* Previous experience selling complex SaaS solutions at the enterprise level, ideally working with a multi-million quota
* Experience selling into the Transmission and Distribution industry, or an aligned industry, is also desired
* Strong interpersonal skills; building strong, long-term relationships is key to success in this role
* A proactive work style with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a matrix sales structure
* Working knowledge of IT and OT industries
