Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to work one-on-one with children that have moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs. A dedicated school for children aged 11-19 in Worthing, who have special educational challenges, is looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. They take pride in helping pupils develop the skills, understanding, and confidence to reach their full potential, enabling them to lead full and happy lives.
You will work in partnership with the school's teaching staff and therapists to deliver specific interventions that aim to boost students' learning, development, and well-being. You will make a real difference in the lives of the children, gaining vital experience that will enable you to kick-start your future career.
This role will provide you with essential experience within a challenging yet rewarding setting. Career progression routes include SEN Teacher, Occupational Therapist, and various Psychology routes.
