A member of the College Leadership Team, the post-holder will have responsibility for leading the college’s MIS team to provide high quality and accurate information to all stakeholders in a timely and proactive manner. They will oversee the collection, storage, management and distribution of the information that the college holds. They will work with all teams in the college to ensure they have the information they need, and that the college holds the information required for external bodies and returns such as the ILR, DfE, and relevant Local Authorities. They will ensure that this information is held securely, used appropriately and meeting all necessary regulations. They will seek the best ways to share information to ensure it is accessible and meets the needs of the end user.
Manage GDPR across the college and be the designated Data Protection Officer.
The successful candidate will:
· Have high levels of technical skill in obtaining, manipulating, and clearly reporting data in a useful format for a range of audiences
· Be comfortable managing numerous work streams to a high standard
· Have designed, implemented, and improved significant information systems
· Demonstrate strong leadership skills
Significant experience working with data and information systems is an essential requirement for the role. A background in education is not required, but a passion for supporting the provision of excellent education for young people is.
