About the Role
The Sales Development Representative role offers an exceptional opportunity for aspiring sales and marketing professionals to drive our sales and growth efforts forward. This position involves prospecting and generating appointments for our Sales Team by qualifying sales leads, converting them into opportunities, and showcasing our products and services.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prospect and generate appointments for the Sales Team.
* Qualify sales leads, convert them into opportunities, and showcase our products and services.
* Engage with prospects, including business owners, directors, and HR/Payroll professionals.
* Showcase our products and services, deliver tailored marketing content, and identify new potential opportunities within our CRM.
Requirements
* Experience in a Sales/Business Development Representative role (SAAS/Services company ideal).
* Self-starter with strong opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time management ability.
* Good understanding of call structuring, conversation control, and pitching.
* Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment.
* Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills.
* Proficient with standard corporate tools (email, voicemail, MS Office) and comfortable with technology and proficient in using sales and CRM software tools.
* Goal-oriented and motivated mindset to achieve lead generation and qualification targets.
* Sales training and Salesforce.com experience a plus.
