GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Lincoln. If you are looking for a rewarding role where no two days are the same, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Responsibilities As a Learning Support Assistant, You Will Support students in small groups or one-to-one settings, helping them with their learning needs. Work closely with the class teacher to ensure students are on track and engaged. Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) to reach their full potential. Help with classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment. Support students in understanding lesson content and completing their work. Promote the emotional and social development of students. To succeed as a Learning Support Assistant, you will need: Experience working with children or in an educational setting (preferred). A calm, patient, and positive approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. A passion for working with young people and supporting their education. A willingness to work flexibly and as part of a team. Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is an advantage but not essential. Driving License is required. Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
