We're looking for a talented Procurement Administrator to work for our client.

The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager and based in the company's St Leonards On Sea office, as the Procurement Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the procurement of components and material for production, managing BOM's and ensuring all information is updated to allow full traceability, evaluating supplier performance through non-conformances, on-time delivery and cost, and maintaining the Purchase Ledger with product information including COSHH.
In the job you'll be tasked with the following:
Purchasing components and material to meet the company’s needs
Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers
Evaluating costs from suppliers
Ensuring on time delivery of materials
Maintaining the purchasing system
Allocating stock for production
Resolving issues with purchase orders or invoices in a timely manner
The Candidate:
To be considered for the Procurement Administrator role, you'll need to be able to demonstrate that you are capable of managing projects to a budget and deadlines.
In addition, you'll need the following:
Significant experience in a similar Purchasing role within an engineering environment, with a good understanding of technical information
Skilled in the reading of engineering drawings
Capable of utilising sub-contract manufacturers and understanding their capabilities
Good knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel
Good communication and organisational skills
Self-motivation and enthusiasm

The Package:
The standard working hours for this position are 36 hours.
Basic salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum dependant on experience
Bonus: An extra bonus is also available if the company hits certain targets - full details of the scheme will be revealed at interview
