We have an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Product Developer to join the Lucy & Yak Team Following design creation, our Assistant Product Developer is responsible for assisting the Product Developer, Shape Designer and Print Designer, in developing sustainable products up to pre-production stage, ensuring instructions are understood by supplier partners and our product is fit for purpose. What you'll be doing Assist the Design team with the product development process from design concept through to pre-production Assist the design team to ensure their concepts are represented for each collection Support with sample trackers, to ensure samples arrive on time and are ready to present for each season Receiving and dispatching parcels to Supplier partners & Barnsley office Attend Critical Path meetings with Suppliers Update the design development critical path, ensuring key dates are accurate and highlighting any concerns to the PD Develop strong working relationships with our internal teams and supplier partners In more detail Work with the Garment Tech Team to ensure tech packs are sent to suppliers on time Assist the product development process from the handover of the range plan through to bulk sign off Assist the Product Developers to send comments for fabric and trim approvals Track wearer trials Take meeting minutes for all key meetings, and share with the Design team Create and maintain an up to date fabric library Work alongside Product Developers to develop trims and manage trim library Work alongside Design Assistant to keep work space organised Assisting with repeat Black Seal comments Assist with fabric sourcing packs What you need Knowledge of the fashion design process from concept through to final production Experience working with critical path timelines to ensure product development stages are met on schedule.
