We are looking for a Mortgage and Protection Advisor to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working remotely with the occasional requirement to attend our Basildon office. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £28,000 per annum plus additional monthly commission, depending on skills and experience. They must gather sufficient information to enable them to fully understand the customer’s financial circumstances, identify their preferences and financial objectives. This ensures that any recommendations are the most suitable, best-value options. Each must be a good fit for the individual’s customer and meet all regulatory requirements and expectations based on Stonebridge standards. In addition, the Mortgage and Protection Advisor must ensure that the business generated reflects the objectives of the company to meet their business goals. As well as providing excellent customer service to the end consumer, the Mortgage and Protection Advisor must establish and maintain relationships with key Introducers who are vital to ensure the ongoing channel of new potential customers to the business. The role includes proactive, self-driven generation of sales opportunities, as well as maximising existing leads, by phone and email contact. The role also includes responsibility for ensuring all team-specific spreadsheets are updated with financial data, as well as information drawn from Revolution. Key responsibilities Achieve target sales by converting new client enquiries Book and complete new appointments with clients Identify/recommend mortgage products & insurance policies that meet client objectives Recommend mortgage products & insurance policies that meet MQ business objectives Build relationships with key Introducers Deliver exceptional service to clients, reflected in positive feedback Proactively drive new lead referrals Achieve target of securing an offer within 2-4 weeks, working with Admin team Deliver compliantly completed cases, meeting all regulatory & standard requirements Maintain and grow competence across mortgage and insurance markets and products Requirements: CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is essential Experience as a mortgage advisor is ideal Understanding of the Mortgage Market Excellent communication skills Strong influencing skills How to apply Apply with CV.
