We have an exciting opportunity for a Terminal Manager who will be responsible for managing our COMAH Oil Terminal, ensuring that all emergency, security, safety, operational and environmental plans and procedures are in place and followed.
AOT is a high hazard fuel site producing multiple fuel blends. A significant element of this role is to enthusiastically lead people on the journey to develop the site and improve the profitability of the business. You will need to lead from the front, have a passion for manufacturing and engineering, with a desire to get the best out of teams to deliver our investment plans and business growth. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations as well as the strategic direction of the business, bringing fresh thinking and a CI approach, to take the terminal to even greater levels of operational efficiency, ahead of further capital investment.

Key Accountabilities
1. Member of the Site Leadership Team engaged in developing the overall site strategy and resource management plans.
2. Develop, lead and motivate the operational teams to deliver high standards of performance.
3. Deliver against business targets ensuring required volume, quality and budgets are achieved.
4. Develop operational excellence ensuring training, instructions and control procedures are in place.
5. Drive safety, health and environmental excellence ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
6. Maximise asset utilisation through prioritising and allocation of tasks, maintaining plant OEE data.
7. Develop and deliver improvement plans incorporating engineering modifications to improve site operation.
8. Support the construction and commissioning of new assets in support of new capital investment initiatives.
What you will need to be successful:
* Degree in Process or relevant engineering discipline, or significant process operations experience.
* A strong people manager who can lead and motivate teams to maximise site performance.
* Experience in managing and delivering plant improvement projects and turnarounds, including Management of Change (MOC) and Safe Systems of Work.
* Thrives in a high-paced, changing environment.
* Results-driven and action-focused.
* Experience of dealing with regulators e.g. EA, HSE.
* Strong communicator who will collaborate across functions.
* Relevant SHE qualification i.e. NEBOSH.
* Experience leading a COMAH site (desirable) or knowledge of COMAH regulations.
* Training or qualification under the EEMUA CompeTank certification scheme for tank integrity (advantageous).
