We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our fast paced Catering team. The successful candidate will assist with the cleaning and operation of the kitchen, ensuring that all of the schools’ hygiene and safety standards are met. They will also demonstrate flexibility and be willing to take on new responsibilities as necessary to meet the changing needs of the School. The ability to follow instruction and assist with unloading and storing heavy food deliveries at a fast pace is essential. This is a physically demanding role.
Ideally you will have previous experience in an operational catering position, however this is not essential as full training will be given. Please be aware this is an operational role and not a food preparation role.

This role is full time and permanent 40 hours per week, term time only, on a rota basis which will include weekends, early mornings and evenings but no split shifts and a significant break over Christmas and the New Year.
