We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Salaried GP tojoin our are keen to attract the right candidate to join our extremelyfriendly, expanding, busy dispensing practice to work 4 - 6 sessions per week.
We have 7,000 patients, in a beautiful, modern, purpose-builtleased building.
We are high QOF achievers and have a good CQC rating.
Our happy, supportive and professional team consists of 3Partners, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and anexcellent admin team. We use SystmOneclinical system.
We are part of an active GP Federation and PCN, SouthLincoln Healthcare:
Includes the HomeHealth Team led by ANPs who provide adedicated Care Home Visiting Service, Clinical Pharmacists, PharmacyTechnicians, Living Well Team; Occupational Therapists, Health & WellbeingCoach, First Contact Physios, Mental Health Practitioner and Care Coordinatorsalong with administration support for the whole PCN. Our Practice Manager is a Director of the Federation.
Main duties of the job
We are keen to find someone who will be a proactive member of the partnership and practice team.

1. Fully qualified GP with GMC registration
2. Annual appraisal and revalidation (when appropriate)

About us
BassinghamSurgery is a busy, dispensing practice located in rural Lincolnshire, close to theNottinghamshire border with around 7000 patients. We achieved a good rating inour last CQC inspection. We host MedicalStudents from Lincoln University.
We are aforward thinking practice part of South Lincoln Healthcare Federation and PCN. We are a TPP SystmOne practice anduse AccuRx for online requests. We do not operate a DutyDoctor, all GPs work equitably each day. All GP and ANP appointments are 15minutes. Through the PCN we have adedicated HomeHealth team led by ANPs who provide a Care Home Visiting Service.
We have askilled and experienced team comprising of 3 GP Partners, 2 Nurse Practitioners,and an excellent nursing team. We are also supported by a full complement ofARRS staff, including Musculoskeletal Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners,Occupational Therapists, Clinical Pharmacy Team, Health & Wellbeing Coachand Care Coordinators. Alongside our clinical team we have a highly motivated andcompetent Reception/ Administration and Dispensary teams.

Job responsibilities
The following are the core responsibilities of the Salaried GP. There may be, on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks. This will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.
The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
The provision of services commensurate with the primary care contract
Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
Effective management of long term conditions
Processing administration in a timely manner, including referrals, repeat prescription requests and other associated tasks
Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy and guidance
Work collaboratively, accepting an equal share of the practice workload
Adhere to best practice recommended through clinical guidelines and the audit process
Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
Accept delegated responsibility for a specific area (or areas) of QoF
Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
Contribute effectively to the development and maintenance of the practice including clinical governance and training
Ensure compliance with the appraisal process
Prepare and complete the revalidation process
Commit to self learning and instil and ethos of continuing professional development across the practice team
Review and always adhere to practice protocols and policies
Encourage collaborative working, liaising with staff regularly, always promoting a culture of continuous improvement
