UHNM is seeking a Senior Training Fellow in ENT. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with ENT Consultants renowned for their exceptional service. The ENT team performs both surgical and clinical duties, addressing the increased clinical demand and aiding in the reduction of the backlog caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The role involves working across both the Royal Stoke and County Hospitals., To provide an exceptional level of care for our patients presenting with problems requiring ENT input in an outpatient and theatre environment. The appointee will join the existing ENT medical team to:
Support a comprehensive outpatient service within ENT
Treat patients with ophthalmololgy conditions
Continue clinical responsibility for patients in your charge
Work with colleagues in other professions and support inter-disciplinary work
Triage of patients and safely discharge patients, when appropriate
The job plan will be agreed with the successful candidates and will be based on a 10 PA working week.
The appointed candidate would be expected to engage with the ENT Department delivery.
Scheduling of sessions is by mutual agreement. Opportunities exist for flexible working, extended working day and expanding weekend working.
