We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our teaching staff and contribute to a positive learning environment for our students. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, hardworking and committed to join our SEND support team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and commitment to helping our students reach their full potential. This is a challenging yet incredibly rewarding role working with 11-16 students to raise standards and attainment.

We recognise that some students may require more support than others and we aim to plan accordingly. The post holder will work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff to provide 1 to 1 and general classroom support for students. This role may also include a wide range of duties including, supervision of students, exam invigilation, data inputting, preparation and maintenance of resources and materials, and supporting trips and activities as required.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of August 2025. The normal hours of work are 32.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 3:10pm. This includes a 40-minute unpaid break. This is a term time only post, additional holidays cannot be taken during term time. Additional hours may be required to support after school or school holidays activities. This will be paid as additional over time.
