We here at Daimler Truck are looking for a Used Truck Progressor and Sales Administrator to join our Finance and Administration team, based in Wentworth Park, Barnsley. Within this role, you will support the used truck sales team by providing proactive sales administration support and progression of stock vehicles through the preparation process to the used truck market in as timely and efficient manner as possible. You will need to communicate clearly with all relevant parties to manage issues that arise in the preparation process and work towards the common aim of maximizing used truck market values on vehicles.
More about the role
Progressing of vehicles through the preparation process through to delivery to the customer, including but not limited to the following steps:
* Processing deal sheet and preparation requirements
* Communicating requirements to workshop, obtain approvals and issue order for preparation work
* Regular follow-up on progress
* Process any changes/issues that arise promptly with aim of achieving completion date
* Pro-actively communicate any issues/delays, manage priorities between Sales and Workshop teams
* Co-ordinate completion and deliveries
* Accurate updating of shared tracker files
Play an active role in meetings with Sales and Workshop teams with the aim to efficiently progress vehicles through the preparation process. Ensuring vehicle sales, invoicing and release procedures are followed and documented correctly. Update of work in progress and reserving of vehicles on relevant systems.
Perform the sales invoicing and reporting processes accurately and efficiently and provide management with clear information to enable decision making.
Qualifications
About you
* Educated at GCSE level with experience of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Keyloop experience an advantage.
* The ability to communicate effectively in a polite and professional manner.
* Experience of working in a high pressure environment such as Commercial Vehicles sales administration or workshop is advantageous.
* The ability to manage time with strong written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
