Exciting Opportunity In LS1: Project Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000 per year (depending on experience)

About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale roof and ground-mounted solar PV systems. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing installation and maintenance works, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with suppliers, site staff, and installation teams.
Manage solar PV/electrical contracting installations (average of 1MW rooftop and 5MW ground-mounted).
Plan and schedule installation and maintenance works.
Ensure material and contractual delivery are achieved on time.
Attend site pre-installation technical and costing surveys.
Specify and procure materials and equipment.
Conduct risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and observe CDM regulations.
Maintain accurate records on the company's CRM and project information systems.
Ensure Health & Safety procedures are up to date and regularly brief the installation team through toolbox talks.
Develop good working relationships with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience delivering roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar PV projects.
Battery storage modelling experience.
HV/LV connection knowledge (ideally with DNO background).
Strong project management skills, ensuring optimal design and costs on all projects.
Minimum 3 years' experience managing commercial-scale solar PV projects and teams.
Ability to interpret PV and electrical designs.
Engineering technical excellence and pride in work/project outcomes.
Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to timescales and attention to detail.
Problem-solving skills and a strong drive to deliver on time, on budget, and on quality.
