Shift patterns: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, 2-week rota pattern with alternate weekends off.

About Kingfisher Court:
Kingfisher Court is a modern, welcoming care home offering luxurious comfort and beautiful landscaped gardens. We provide first-class residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents, ensuring a safe, warm, and friendly environment where residents feel truly at home.
About the Role:
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents. Supporting the Home Manager, you will oversee care delivery, manage staff performance, and uphold compliance with CQC standards and Anchor policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the delivery of person-centred care that meets residents’ needs and enhances their quality of life.
2. Lead, motivate, and manage the care team, ensuring high performance and engagement.
3. Create and manage staff rotas, ensuring the right skill mix is available.
4. Oversee medication management, conducting regular audits to ensure safety and compliance.
5. Maintain high safeguarding standards, identifying and addressing any risks.
6. Support the Home Manager in meeting CQC and Local Authority regulations.
7. Build relationships with residents, families, and external professionals to promote positive outcomes.
8. Participate in marketing and welcoming new residents to the home.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Skills:
9. Previous people management experience in a care setting.
10. Knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
11. Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
12. Experience working in a customer-focused environment.
Qualifications:
13. Care Level 3 Diploma (Dementia Pathway) or Level 2 Management Qualification (preferred).
14. Computer literacy and the ability to use digital care planning systems.
15. Must hold a full driving license
