About the Opportunity
A leading external asset management firm is looking for an experienced Private Banker (Relationship Manager) to join its growing London team. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-connected professional to deliver high-touch wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions.
As part of a client-focused, globally connected firm, you’ll play a key role in growing assets under management while delivering personalized financial advice supported by a network of trusted custodian partners.
What You’ll Do
Client Relationship Management
* Transition your own book of high-net-worth clients into a tailored service model.
* Act as a primary advisor, delivering bespoke banking and investment solutions in collaboration with leading custodians.
* Conduct regular portfolio reviews and coordinate with internal teams to support long-term client goals.
Business Development
* Leverage your existing network to introduce and integrate new clients into the firm.
* Actively prospect new HNW and UHNW individuals, families, and family offices through referrals, networking, and events.
* Maintain a strong pipeline to increase assets under management.
Wealth Management Solutions
* Collaborate with investment specialists, tax advisors, and custodians to deliver holistic wealth strategies.
* Support client needs across growth, preservation, and succession planning.
Market Insight & Leadership
* Offer proactive, insight-driven guidance based on market trends.
* Represent the firm at industry events, championing its high-value, partnership-led approach.
Compliance & Risk
* Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Monitor and mitigate portfolio risk in line with client objectives and risk tolerance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
* Background in private banking, wealth management, or related roles at family offices, private banks, or external asset managers.
* Proven ability to bring and manage a book of HNW clients with a strong track record of increasing AUM.
Skills & Attributes
* Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* A strong business development mindset and established network in the HNW/UHNW space.
* Deep understanding of complex financial needs and ability to deliver custodian-supported solutions.
