Position Overview
To provide a costing service to the Firm and liaise with Fee Earners in respect of Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute and Points of Reply, negotiations and Assessment Proceedings, Statements of Costs and Costs Budgets. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate management of costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft Bills of Costs and ensure they are completed to a high standard.
* Consider Points of Dispute and draft Points of Reply, providing thorough and well-reasoned arguments.
* Collate Applications and supporting papers for Provisional and Detailed Assessments, guaranteeing all necessary documentation is included.
Requirements
We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost law and be familiar with relevant legislation and procedures. Strong organizational and time management skills are also essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary
The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
