We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join us as an In-House Cleaner. As our Part Time Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in upholding our standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our premises. You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the store, washrooms, canteen and communal areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere for both customers and colleagues. A part-time position is available at this store for 4 hours per week. Ideally, the successful candidate will be free to work a 2-hour shift on a Sunday from 4.30 pm or on Monday from 6 am-8 am with the remaining 2 hours split across the week. Specific Job Role and Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the store on a rolling checklist which must include a full clean of the retail floor. Clean and sanitise restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors, to maintain a hygienic environment. Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with company policies. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that adequate stock levels are maintained. Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Collaborate with other team members and departments to maintain a cohesive and organised approach to cleaning tasks. Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required: Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required. Previous experience with using a Numatic scrubber/dryer preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining extremely high standards of cleanliness. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with team members. Flexibility to work during early mornings and/or evenings as needed.
