Role Overview:
We are seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to work on a diverse range of projects, providing professional advice and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-standard surveying services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the consultancy's continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct building surveys, inspections, and reports for a variety of properties.
2. Provide expert advice on building defects, maintenance, and refurbishment.
3. Prepare specifications, schedules of work, and contract administration.
4. Assist in project management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
5. Advise clients on property-related legislation, regulations, and sustainability.
6. Carry out dilapidation assessments and party wall matters.
7. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements:
1. MRICS Chartered status is essential.
2. Proven experience working on a variety of projects within a consultancy setting.
3. Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction processes, and industry standards.
4. Excellent report writing and communication skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
6. Proficiency in relevant surveying software and Microsoft Office.
7. Full UK driving license (if required for site visits).
