Support Team Leader - Adult Learning Disabilities
Permanent opportunity in Blackpool. £28,000-£30,000 plus benefits
Are you seeking a new permanent opportunity as a Support Team Leader to manage and lead a team of staff within a 10 bedded service for adults with Learning Disabilities?
Working for an established provider of care for vulnerable people with learning disability, ABI and complex needs we have a rewarding opportunity for someone to join their team.
The role:
1. Full time permanent Support Team Leader, overseeing the management of a service for adults with learning disability and complex needs
2. Daily management and staff supervisions, rotas and attending meetings
3. Ensuring the staff will be up to date with training
4. Staff appraisals and supervisions
5. Day to day running of the service and working in line with policies and procedures
6. Support the people being supported to access employment opportunities
The ideal person:
7. Ideally you will have a minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care, preferably the level 5 in Leadership & Management or willingness to work towards it.
8. Experience of working within a similar setting and knowledge of supporting adults with learning disability, ABI, mental health issues and complex needs
9. Flexible, proactive and positive attitude
10. Passionate and have the desire to want to support adults and vulnerable people with a learning disability
11. Team Player and enthusiastic with the ability to lead and develop your staff teams
