We are currently recruiting for a Support Engineer (Automation) to join our Technology Solutions Sub-Division in Llanelli. Reporting to the Support Team Leader, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical faults, collaborating with internal/external teams and vendors to achieve fault resolutions as well as the formalisation of procedures for the Service Desk Team.
The role will focus on, but not limited to, Automation Technology (RPA). This role will be working 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 0900 and 1730 UK time.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for end-to-end client support, focusing on the automation technology set.
* Identifying areas for improvement within Service Delivery Team via automation and standardisation.
* Ability to use initiative to work in silo as well as part of a Team to deliver timely resolution to customer requests, accurately providing regular updates using pre-defined templates to build rapport.
* Maintain documentation that supports best practice.
* Take ownership of technical problems and see through to resolution even when passed to third parties.
* Liaising with other members of the team for support and escalation, providing adequate and accurate information to discuss and review escalated calls.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical customers.
* Experience with automation software such as Blue Prism, UI Path, Automation Anywhere or Microsoft Power Platform.
* Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, evidenced via previous work experience or technical / scientific qualifications.
* An active knowledge of information technology, and a passion for keeping up to date with the latest technologies. Desire to learn new skills and progress professionally.
* Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team.
* An understanding of Virtual Machines.
* Developing strategies, software testing, development, and proactive work with users to prevent future incidents.
* Providing Input for creating End User documentation such as brochures and training packs across systems and devices.
