Company client working on behalf of it's customer who are recruiting for an experienced Heating & HVAC Engineer on a permanent basisThis is a mobile position covering three site location in Surrey Place of Work: (Guildford, Merrist Wood, Farnham)Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (on site from 08:00 to 16:30)Standby Service: On-call rota (paid additionally)Probation Period: 3 monthsRole Overview:This mobile role involves both commercial and residential heating and plumbing work. The position includes the installation and service of renewable technologies, as well as general HVAC plant installation, service, planned maintenance, and reactive works.Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned service and maintenance to HVAC appliances, heating systems, renewables, plumbing, and general HVAC equipmentInstall and replace HVAC appliances under small works projects, including pipework and plumbingInstall air source heat pump systems and associated controlsPerform fault finding and troubleshooting tasksMaintain accurate records of work on internal field service software and management systemsParticipate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota and remain flexible beyond core hoursEnsure excellent customer care and maintain a smart, professional appearanceCommunicate effectively and work collaboratively within a teamWork confidently under pressure while adhering to current legislationDemonstrate commercial awareness in day-to-day tasksRequirements and Skills:Desire for self-improvement and professional developmentExperience in both commercial and residential plumbing and pipework installationsStrong work ethic, safety-focused, and pride in quality of workRelevant industry qualificationsAbility to survey sites for new or replacement system proposalsPractical and theoretical understanding of heating and plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settingsAbility to perform planned maintenance on HVAC plant and equipment, adhering to standards such as SFG20Effective team player with strong interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with RAMS and Safe Systems of Work in compliance with Health and Safety proceduresUp-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practicesFull UK driving licenceWillingness to learn and undertake additional training as neededProficient in maintaining detailed and accurate records using field service software (and occasional paper-based logs)Additional Information:An Enhanced DBS check is essential due to work in schools and colleges.Benefits: Company van provided 23 days annual leave + bank holidays Company Pension Scheme (Auto Enrolment)* Training and professional development opportunitiesThe salary for this role is £39,000k annually #LI-PB1
