Operations Manager - Specialist Services | Bicester | JR2501_0136 Are you ready to manage the team and lead from the front YOUR ROLE Following an internal promotion, our operational site based in Bicester is looking to expand the team. We are seeking a dedicated Manager for our specialist Loan Pools service area. This key and exciting role involves ensuring the operational management of the team is fully delivered. Your responsibilities will include managing day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies, maintaining audit trails for all workshop departments, and overseeing the timely provision and completion of all technical training. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and maintain a mutually supportive team, within and across Business Stream/Functional boundaries, capable of delivering with emphasis on improvement, communication, collaboration, co-operation and recognition. Deliver the Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as applicable to the key processes whilst optimising available resources in the Workshop team and improving the effectiveness and efficiency. Develop a Health and Safety culture within the team, ensuring the highest standards of Health and Safety are maintained in the work area. Develop and sustain agile/flexible team working in recognising and rewarding positive behaviour and the contribution of the team. Conduct daily Team briefs with all staff and weekly Team Briefs with Team Leaders based on the K&N Defence model Monitor and ensure all training, especially mandated training requirements for the BS is achieved in line with K&N Responsible for promoting a quality culture within the business. Manage Customer relationships at a Senior level. Identify milestones and indicators to be used to measure and track the operational performance in order to measure the strategic value it creates. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES Previous operational management experience within a complex business which will involve change projects including concurrent projects. Proven experience in managing large teams of up to 50 Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; ability to clearly communicate complex messages to a variety of audiences including senior management Confidence and gravitas to influence and challenge at executive level.
