We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People & Culture Operations based in Leeds.
This role is all about supporting and building the MPS Talent Acquisition Strategy, with a key focus on creating a strong recruitment framework that helps us attract, hire, and retain the best talent from around the world—both today and in the future. You’ll also offer your expertise on a variety of recruitment-related topics and projects, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels across the organization globally.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in Talent Acquisition, ideally with experience across a range of sectors and organizations of various sizes. Specific industry experience isn’t crucial, it’s important that you’ve worked in fast-paced, high-energy environments. You’ll need to have a can-do attitude, wanting to learn every facet of our company and being eager to lead and add your insight to projects and our continuous improvement activities.
Role Responsibility
* Help shape and implement the MPS Talent Acquisition Strategy, making sure it’s on track in terms of planning, budget, and quality.
* You’ll track all recruitment metrics and work closely with the People Data Insights and Systems Lead, along with other key stakeholders, to analyze the data and come up with solutions that are driven by the insights.
* Work alongside the Head of P&C Operations to manage the recruitment budget and track spending, making sure we run an efficient and effective model that keeps costs down while maximizing our contribution to financial sustainability—without sacrificing the member experience.
* Use recruitment campaigns to showcase and celebrate the MPS brand and culture, getting creative with techniques like social media, recruitment ads, careers fairs, and direct sourcing. You'll also play a key role in protecting the MPS brand by overseeing all recruitment activities and ensuring we're bringing in people who align with and support the MPS values.
* Take the lead in attracting and recruiting a diverse range of candidates, building well-rounded talent pools, and ensuring our selection processes are fair and transparent. You’ll also develop strategies to bring in candidates from underrepresented groups. If needed, you'll challenge leaders’ thinking on this and escalate any concerns when necessary.
* Take charge of recruitment for upcoming organizational changes and any outcomes from the design authority, ensuring everything runs smoothly and aligns with the new structure.
The Ideal Candidate
* Extensive knowledge of advanced recruitment sourcing techniques, with the ability to leverage a variety of channels, tools, and platforms to attract top talent.
* A deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices in recruitment and resourcing, including the use of innovative strategies like data-driven recruitment, AI tools, and social media sourcing.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You should be able to clearly articulate the value of recruitment strategies, build strong relationships with hiring managers, and effectively negotiate with candidates.
* A strong background in internal recruitment, with experience managing the full recruitment cycle within an organization. This includes working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs, sourcing and interviewing candidates, and ensuring a smooth hiring process from start to finish.
* You should have experience recruiting across various departments and levels, including senior leadership roles, and be able to navigate the nuances of internal mobility, talent development, and succession planning. Additionally, your experience should involve driving recruitment strategies that align with the company’s culture and long-term goals.

About the Company
Who We Are
Medical Protection Society (MPS) is the world’s leading protection organisation for Doctors, Dentists and healthcare professionals. We protect and support the professional interests of almost 300,000 Members around the world.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, meaning our Members’ premiums are kept safe should our Members require support for complaints or claims arising from professional practice, or invested into bettering the organisation, our colleagues and our products.
Our philosophy is to support safe practice in medicine and dentistry by helping to avert problems in the first place. We also actively campaign for regulatory and legal reforms that benefit Members and the wider healthcare professions.
To do this, we need colleagues who are trusted and supported to deliver their best work, whether that be through leadership development, fully-funded training courses or peer-to-peer support. We want our colleagues to feel empowered enough to deliver positive change, display ambition to push themselves and are determined when faced with a challenge, whilst ensuring our Member’s best interests are at the core.
