Cleaners – Part Time x 2 Location: Dearne Valley - Old Moor Salary: £23,401.00 - £25,155.00 Pro Rata Benefits: Pension, Life Assurance and Annual Leave Contract: Permanent Hours: 10-12 hours per week Introduction Working with our existing cleaners, you will be responsible for cleaning the offices and visitor centre at RSPB Old Moor to a high standard to ensure all visitors enjoy their visit. The positions are for 2 hours a day, 10 hours a week. Role one Thursday to Monday, including Saturday and Sunday. Role two is Tuesday to Saturday. What's the role about? The Visitor's Centre is assessed for quality control and you will be vital in keeping it cleaned to a high standard as well as cleaning the office building and other occasional cleaning tasks. Main duties include: Hoovering and mopping floors and cleaning touch points, desks etc Cleaning the public and staff toilets and shower; refilling toilet rolls, soap and hand towel dispensers Essential skills, knowledge and experience: Knowledge of using cleaning products in a safe and appropriate manner (COSHH) An understanding of colour coding and avoiding cross contamination Good time management skills Good attention to detail Ability to carry heavy items up and down stairs Desirable skills: Ability to work in a team and cover holidays and illness Cleaning experience in busy environments Closing date: 23:59, Fri, 28th Feb 2025 We are looking to conduct interviews for these positions as suitable applications come in.
