We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Communities. You will be required to travel around the district, so a clean driving licence and access to a car is also required, as well as some experience of working on different digital platforms.
Our team here at MHA aims to enable people to live later life well. We strive to support older adults in our community by reducing loneliness and isolation, bringing those individuals together for friendship, activity, and hot meals. This role of Community Coordinator is delivering lunch clubs and social activities to these older adults in the community within Sheffield.
We are looking for someone who can cook, develop engaging fun activities, understand issues faced by older adults, work within a budget, and be confident using IT packages for assessment, recording, and reviewing member details and needs. But mostly to be motivated, kind, and have a laugh! You can make a difference in people's lives; it can be incredibly rewarding.
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £24,355 per annum F/T (Pro-rata part time 19 hours)
Type of Contract: Part Time
Hours: 19
Benefits: Pension scheme, 28 days annual leave (includes bank holidays) pro-rata to hours
